SC Johnson (SCJ) is recognized a leader in marketing innovation, and its success is built solidly upon understanding consumer insights and behavior.  The Consumer Insights & Business Analytics (CIBA) division partners with the Marketing teams, employing forward-thinking, consumer-centric research designs and in-depth, holistic data analysis. As a Data & Analytics (AI) Intern, your role will involve driving innovation through the use of advanced technology.This role is perfect for someone eager to learn about Generative AI (GenAI) and gain hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to assist in developing AI-powered products.

  • Help design and optimize techniques to improve AI model performance.

  • Support the development and maintenance of Python-based workflows for AI applications.

  • Assist in implementing validation methods to ensure AI models are accurate and reliable.

  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.

  • Training: We provide a formalized training program that includes topics such as neuroscience, behavioral economics, and business analytics and others necessitated by the specific project(s).

  • Coaching and Mentoring: From day one, you will receive support and coaching from an experienced manager and advice from a mentor to help answer any questions you may have along the way.

  • Flexibility to participate in Summer Hours, which allows you to complete your work week by noon on Friday.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Must be enrolled and seeking MBA in Artificial Intelligence or a related degree with a graduation date of December 2025 or May/June 2026.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience. 

  • Available to complete internship early June 2025 through early August 2025.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • At least 3 years of previous internship or work experience within the industry.

  • Global experience/exposure and a passion for innovation.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building internal and external relationships.

  • Proactive and committed to delivering results by fostering a sense of ownership and curiosity.

  • Basic knowledge in Generative AI (GenAI) and AI product development.

  • Familiarity with Python programming.

  • Basic understanding of AI model evaluation methods.

  • Willingness to learn about MLOps/LLMOps architectures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full time Monday- Friday.

  • 10-week summerinternship.

  • This position is not eligible for remote work.
