NEW EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION

GETTING TO KNOW OUR FAMILY COMPANY

Our New Employee Orientation program serves as the welcoming point for all SCJ new hires. In this introductory session, we take a closer look at the legacy of SC Johnson, our current initiatives and business structure, and the future strategy and vision of the company.

After these preliminary sessions, managers take over in creating unique onboarding experiences for their functions and roles which includes time to meet the team, networking and training plans, assignment of an onboarding buddy to provide support during the first several months with the company and more.

Learning Week

During our annual Learning Week event, you’ll have the opportunity to be inspired by our leaders, learn about innovative projects across the organization, and grow your professional skills. We introduce enterprise-wide learning and development tools, resources and best practices. Session focuses are aligned to key organizational priorities at the time of the event each year.

Events are hosted in-person at our global headquarters in Racine, Wisconsin with live broadcasts of select sessions for global colleagues.

KEY CAPABILITIES SERIES

The Key Capabilities Series is a monthly training series offered to our global organization focused on helping our employees develop in key skill areas. Examples of past focus topics include Creative Problem-Solving, Cross-Functional Collaboration, and Developing a Growth Mindset. The sessions are offered both virtually and in-person, and focus on relevance to promote employee development in their current role as well as development for future roles in the organization.

DEVELOPMENT MONTH

Drive your growth at SCJ

Development Month at SCJ is a worldwide virtual event that equips people with tools and understanding that help drive productive discussions and planning for career development. Through panels with company executives, workshops and presentations, we introduce and emphasize the importance of using the tools and resources available to take full advantage of development opportunities.

SC Johnson's Learning Portal inspires, motivates and engages learners anytime, anywhere, on any device. The platform delivers blending learning through resources, live courses and events focused on business skills, office productivity, technology systems and more.
