Associate Manager, Quality Engineering

To plan, implement, manage, and lead in the assigned NPD projects to ensure the fast and flawless launch of new/restage products during development and commercialization phases, as well conduct the SQA, compliance audits according to the SCJ requirement to continuous improving the supplier performance. Working on continuous quality improvement to support business, consumer and customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead quality in E2E to ensure timely and successful product launches.
• Lead global Device E2E NPD with success launch.
• Responsible for new product development (NPD) quality related risk assessment, action plan identification and follow up.
• Understand key customer and consumer expectations and requirements for the products, apply it in the process and product qualification and validation processes.
• Define and implement the key quality methodologies in the project phase, such as PFMEA, Quality Control Plan, Sampling Plan, process capability analysis, Statistical DoE,etc….
• Make timely discussions and decisions concerning nonconforming products and processes to ensure that the company meets its safety, quality and business objectives.
• Lead the PPV and PLQ processes in quality function, define the test plan, communicate & implement with the team, and deliver satisfactory results. Continuous improvement of supplier/3PM quality performance and management system effectiveness. 
• Coach and develop the team based on capability matrix and gap analysis for the team. Responsible for new supplier qualification and audit reports, database maintenance to ensure the fast and flawless launch of new or restage products and innovative product development programs.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• A minimum of bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Chemical engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Food Engineering, Biology.

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• 8+ years working in a quality field with strong quality tools application skills (such as DoE, FMEA, Control Plan, etc…)
• Strategic thinking and influence power.
