Summary

The primary role of the Associate Manager, Demand Planning, is to coach, mentor, and lead a team of analysts responsible for statistical forecasting for the APAC region. This role will also work with the global team COE team to continue to move the community forward with continuous improvement and standardization related to statistical forecasting, deliver on established demand planning KPIs at the region/country/business level, and work closely with the regional demand planning team to drive efficient and collaboration in the end-to-end demand planning process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor team of statistical demand planning analysts.
  • Champion global processes within the region by training and identifying capability gaps through process metrics and skill matrices.
  • Be a guardian of all the best practices of Statistical Demand Planning for the region.
  • Define and lead the onboarding training for the team.
  • Build or enhance the next stages of statistical demand planning in the maturity journey with the Global COE.
  • Build enhancements for process or system gaps found within the region to bring to the full demand planning COE team.
  • Support Demand Planning projects and initiatives that are relevant to the full region.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree holder preferably in supply chain management, economics, engineering, or a business related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Supply Chain or Business, 2-3 years must be focused on demand planning, with demonstrated results and working in a team-based, cross functional environment, preferably experience with the standard S&OP or IBP processes.
  • Hands-on experience in demand planning and simulation systems or tools, specifically a minimum of 3 to 5 years of advanced experience in Excel and Access.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.
  • People management experience.

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement.
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.
  • Strongly preferred experience in Tableau & Power BI.
  • General knowledge of finance, sales, marketing and R&D functions.
  • Strong training and coaching skills.
  • Ability to drive action and influence decision making at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands.

Job Requirements:

  • Full-time, permanent employment
  • Onsite work setup (M-F); remote work once a week is available after 3 months
  • Work Hours: 8:00AM or 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 6:00PM (Mondays thru Fridays)
  • Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables
  • This role is not eligible for relocation
