Senior Analyst, Supply Planning

Overview
To Execute the short term Master Production Schedules that have been developed by the MPS/MRP Lead. Also ensuring that resources, labour, capacity and materials are optimised in order to achieve the Company’s Customer Service and Inventory Targets Objective. In addition to timeously purchase Raw materials and components required for the execution of the Production Schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Finish Goods Inventory in terms of stock availability based on the POV report.
- Implement and coordinate the agreed strategies, including new production plans
- Maintain Material Master Data in ERP system
- Compile daily PVA report and distribute to stakeholders
- Confirm with Material planners that all materials are available for the production plant as per the production plan – 2 week window.
- Weekly Control Tower facilitator
- Owner of schedule adherence reporting monthly
- Weekly planning and overtime requirement management
- Compile Materials shortage report weekly - Ensure the production plan reflects the current pacing based on the previous days output
- Create the weekly production plan based on PMS supply plan and manufacturing constraints
- Manage available capacity in SAP – (Overtime or shift cuts)
Experience you’ll bring:
- B.Com. Purchasing /Supply Chain Degree or equivalent, CPIM
- Min. 4 years purchasing and planning experience in an FMCG environment (preferably with a Multi-national company)
- Knowledge of the SAP R/3 System (MM) and Maintenance of master data is critical. SAP APO an advantage
- New products management or project management
- Purchasing and planning including imported components
- Proven track record in successful purchasing & planning for production lines.
