The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 93,600.00 USD - 122,850.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. Are you ready to lead with purpose and precision? As the Associate Manager, Customer Supply Chain supporting Sam’s Club within the Warehouse Club channel, you’ll be the critical link between our commercial teams, supply chain partners, and one of our most influential customers. This role is your opportunity to design and deploy a high-performing, cost-effective supply chain that delivers on key metrics like case fill, OTIF, event execution, and cost savings—all while strengthening SC Johnson’s position as a preferred supplier. You’ll also lead strategic initiatives, drive cross-functional collaboration, and shape the future of customer supply chain excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor Supply Chain scorecards (internals and externals) and apply course corrective actions as needed for assigned customers
Develop and deploy analysis for communication to the customer and key cross-functional areas to improve supply chain compliance and effectiveness
Maintain key relationships with sales, customer, and cross-functional teams through effective communication and consistent routines
Collaborate with supply chain team to plan, build, and deliver customer specific items, programs, and events with effective forecasting, planning, and risk mitigation
Leader of WHC specific processes, including WHC Operations
Partner to execute against strategic customer development opportunities and deliver growth commitments operationally
Identify ways to create flexible supply chain options/tools and resources that enable sales growth goals
Execute best route to market and cost-to serve supply chain processes for SCJ and our Customers; accountable for the supply chain initiatives that drive improved effectiveness and cost savings
Unsaleable/Returns collaboration across assigned customers to drive profitable category growth
Coordinate with sales as needed to improve order and shipment processes and key event execution and planning
Manage day-to-day issues with each assigned customer related to Supply Chain efficiency
Main point of contact for all supply chain activities between sales, the customer, and SCJ supply chain
Key Metric responsibilities include: OTIF; Promotional event execution; Seasonal execution; Reverse logistics; Bracket pricing; Cost savings; Deductions management
Execute activities to back up team members in the Large Format Channel during temporary absences. This may require detailed customer-level planning, using SCJ’s and the customer’s systems and analytic tools.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
University degree required and 5+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree and 3+ years relevant experience
Military experience considered in lieu of education requirement
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
University Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related business discipline
5+ years of successful experience in Supply Chain, Account Management, or Shopper Insight Analytics
Good verbal and written communication skills at all levels of an organization
Proactive, decisional, goal and results oriented
An assertive yet collaborative and team-oriented leadership style with a sense of urgency
Skilled in problem solving, plan development and priority setting
Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite, intermediate in Excel, BW, SAP and ability to learn and utilize customer systems and data
Ability to represent Supply Chain internally and externally in a professional manner, both strategically and tactically
Ability to complete projects/tasks within assigned timeframe sometimes with competing priorities
Prior customer facing experience
Strong Analytical skills (specifically able to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights)
Negotiation skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Full-Time position in Rogers, AR
Some domestic travel required to SC Johnson Chicago Office and to customer office in Arkansas (~10%), may require over-night stays
Office work environment: Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
This role is not eligible for relocation
