The SC Johnson facility in Bay City, Michigan is the main hub of our Home Storage business manufacturing billions of Ziploc® bags each year. The recently expanded facility runs on 100 percent wind energy and is carbon neutral. Approximately 360 team members in areas of Manufacturing, Maintenance, Global Engineering, Research and Development (RD&E) and more work at the location.

FACILITY FEATURES

There are dozens of production lines across nearly 500 acres of the Bay City facility. You’ll find a collaborative team with many employee-driven safety programs and a Conservation Club which organizes opportunities for hunting enthusiasts during season. Our Activities Club also provides opportunities for employees to get involved with events such as a golf outing and offering discounted tickets to Michigan professional sports events.
