ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate Manager, Graphics Project Manager role is responsible for the hands‑on execution of packaging graphics for a specific category, managing timelines, assets, and cross‑functional interdependencies to support Right‑the‑First‑Time graphics delivery. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, you actively manage timeline‑based deliverables to ensure all required inputs and outputs are completed as planned. Following Design Intent handoff, you will route artwork through WebCenter for reviews and approvals, coordinate production schedules with the pre‑media agency, and communicate artwork status across agency and cross‑functional partners through final release to printer and assets to Brand Operating System (BOS) library.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Owns graphic artwork timelines for a specific category, ensuring milestone delivery through final release to printer, identifying and escalating risks, and coordinating cross‑functional mitigation planning
Manage category‑level production schedules and prioritization, assessing and communicating impacts of changes to maintain alignment with business needs and First Arrival Date (FAD) commitments
Develop, manage, and ensure completion of accurate, fit‑for‑use (FFU) briefs in support of right‑the‑first‑time artwork execution with the pre‑media agency
Orchestrate cross‑functional label copy development, ensuring accurate, complete, and compliant text while adhering to regulatory requirements and delivery timelines
Initiate, manage, and track artwork routings, approvals, and changes within WebCenter, maintaining visibility, documentation, and clear communication across cross‑functional teams and agencies
Analyze category portfolio metrics and graphics processes to support continuous improvement and portfolio visibility in collaboration with cross‑functional partners (e.g., GSARA, Claims, Design, Marketing)
Initiate and conduct process improvement initiatives and technology advancements for graphics tools and workflows
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Communications, Art & Technology, or a related field that supports graphics production and execution and 5-6 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
1-3 years of project management experience within a project management tool (ex. MS Project Pro)
2–3 years of experience leading process improvement initiatives that deliver measurable time and/or cost savings
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Previous experience with:
MS Project Pro or other project management software
Esko’s Web Center graphics workflow tool
Digital Asset Management system
Working knowledge of graphics workflows, print production, and artwork lifecycle management
1-3 years of experience working with creative and/or pre-media agencies strongly preferred
Packaging production process, pre-press and printers
Strong attention to detail, prioritization and organizational skills, and sense of urgency
Strong influencing & collaboration skills with cross-functional partners and external vendors including the ability to enforce design rules
Excellent verbal and written communications for variety of audiences (all levels internal, multi-functional, external companies)
A nimble problem solver, resourceful, and deadline driven
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Full-time, typical work hours, 1st shift, M-F
Office work environment – Remote work available once a week following a 90-day onboarding period
This role is not eligible for relocation assistance
