SC Johnson is seeking a finance professional eager to grow their career into a finance business partner. In this role, you will be aligned to our International Consumer Brands (ICB) organization and report to an FP&A Manager.
As a Senior Analyst, you will support the CFO of the ICB business by leading analytical projects and providing financial analysis and insights that drive business decisions. You will be accountable for budgeting and financial support to ICB’s Human Resources, Marketing and Finance teams.
This is an opportunity to leverage your foundation in finance while deepening your business acumen through collaboration with ICB leaders, HR partners, and regional teams. You will play a pivotal role in driving business priorities and initiatives through your financial analyses and contributions in the financial planning process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare the direct and allocated functional budget for ICB marketing and central teams, understanding drivers of change vs prior year.
Assist ICB HR Team as needed, by tracking full time and contractor headcount, and support monthly commentary and reporting/analytics for performance discussions with leadership team.
Assist on various ICB Planning activities, including Month-End, Corplan and Forecasting.
Assist on key finance digitization initiatives, with goal to improve ICB Finance analytical capacity and capability.
Prepare monthly reporting documentation for ICB leadership team and ICB CFO, including cash flow reporting, month end review analysis, and month end reporting documentation
Provide financial support to ICB Marketing Operations team on expenses management and contract negotiations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of directly related experience including an understanding of financial statements
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Experience with financial statement analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, financial analyses, account reconciliation, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization
SAP/S4Hana, Power BI, Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), MS Suite
Team player with strong interpersonal and cross-functional business partnering skills
Ability to work independently and effectively manage concurrent projects and priorities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
This position will be located at the Willow Road office near Sam’s campus in the Racine area
Full time, Monday through Friday, business hours
Remote work available one day a week for eligible employees
This position is not eligible for relocation
