Job Summary:
This position supports the Associate Finance Manager and Finance Manager. This role is primarily responsible for 1) Financial Data Management, Reporting and Analysis; 2) Statutory and Corporate tax reporting and compliance 3) SOAR compliance; 4) BIR audits; 5) Vendor Payments; 6) Travel & Expense Management and 7) Process documentation and document file management
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In-charge of intercompany billings for recurring SSC charges (not limited to BPT, HRIS, HRDC, Regional Payroll, RDE & Global OJT) and other billings.
In-charge of fixed asset management in terms of AUC, capitalization, retirement, transfer and depreciation.
Manages the balance sheet account analysis and period-end closing which includes preparation of manual journal entries, accruals and review of P&L.
Manages the processing of all MPRF transactions (vendor payments) for submission to Accounts Payable.
Manages statutory compliance for the filing and payment of internal revenue taxes and pension plan benefit for ROHQ.
Spearheads the travel & expense/concur transactions for cash advance, reimbursement/liquidation and corporate credit card.
Provides assistance to the completion of tax packages as required by corporate tax.
Supports the completion of BIR audits, transfer pricing review and preparation of financial statements and annual audit.
Manages SOAR testing and ensures compliance with internal controls.
Provides assistance to the completion of Corplan activities and functional analysis
Leads the process of document filing in support of internal and external audits.
Provides resolution and expertise standpoint in terms of Finance and tax-related queries.
Manages the Finance ROHQ playbook in relation to his/her scope in ROHQ entity’s processes. Ensures local policies for Human Resource and Finance are aligned with the Global policies.
Manages finance-related communications and orientation/training.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or business with strong accounting and technical skills.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
SAP experience is an advantage
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with demonstrated knowledge on advance Excel functions
3-5 years management experience within Finance, preferably in an FMCG company
Can manage highly sensitive data/situations
Must Have
Strong knowledge of Accounting Processes and Controls,
Strong strategic and analytical skills
Strong knowledge of various taxes and statutory regulations
Strong systems and process orientation with good project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong people management skills
Exposure to Internal Controls
Desirables
SAP/BPC experience an advantage
Excellent time management skills
Strong negotiation skills
Previous experience in multi-cultural teams
Job Requirements:
Full-time, direct employment
Onsite work setup; once a week work-from-home after 3 months
Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM or 9 AM - 6 PM (Mondays to Fridays)
Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverable
