Analyst, Logistics Operations Western Group
Location : Frimley, UK
Overview :
The Analyst for Logistics Operations is responsible for managing the system integrity, inventory management, and transport/secondary freight operations in the Western European group, enabling the business to monitor its service and logistical spend vs. budget in France, Belgium, Spain, and Portugal.
This function ensures compliance and partnership with our 3PLs in the Western European region, driving day to day execution and leading operations reviews. The role has active participation in supporting also other supply chain areas of the business and a key focus on delivering data analysis for driving continuous improvement projects.
This role reports to the Associate Manager for Logistics Operations West Europe and is part of an international team.
Responsibilities:
Manage data analysis and systems integration.
Continuous challenge in delivering cost savings through process.
Reporting and KPIs improvement.
Drive inventory management (accuracy, stock movements, quality, expiration date, dangerous products, compliance, obsolete, returns) to meet country group targets and SCJ standards.
Control the health of inventory and define action plans to deplete obsoletes.
Analyze warehousing and transport capacity and mitigation risk plans.
Partnering with fulfillment team, customer finance, local sales, supply planning, and 3PL to solve day-to-day logistics operational issues. First internal escalation point for logistic issues.
Continuous relation with external stakeholders (3PL) to meet business objectives and control logistics cost.
First internal escalation point for product quality issues.
Control and manage returns and refusals, including seasonal products.
- Lead the warehouse and transport LSPs’ performance reviews, close the loop, and improvement plans.
Experienceyou’llbring:
Experience in Supply Chain
University degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Business
Fluent in French and English, Spanish is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Excellent analytical skills with financial acumen
Advance skills in Excel, VBA scripting/Power Query
Working knowledge of SAP Production
