As Regional Project Manager to lead project execution, you will apply best practice throughout PCM (Product Change Management) organization of being responsible for leading different types of projects (products changes) from ideation to launch and post-launch.
- Assure all Subject Matter Experts are engaged to deliver key sub-processes and milestones required for the project, with focus on meeting Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Delivered Profit, Capital, Quality and Customer Service metrics for the project.
- Supports Regional priority projects as defined by End-to-End New Product Development process
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages multiple, simultaneous Asia projects and programs for moderate supply chain and technical complexity, mainly for North Asia (JP and KR).
Regional Priority Project Execution
- As regional project manager, lead global NPD (New Product Development) projects for commercialization and launch in North Asia, focus on Japan.
- As regional project manager, execute regional initiated (incremental net sale growth/business maintenance/cost saving) projects to launch on-time, on-cost and on-quality for North Asia, focus on JP for JP innovation projects and/or buy-in FG (supplier-developed FG) to better support JP business growth needs.
- Develop and manage detailed regional timeline and risk identification / mitigation plans to achieve project objectives.
- Assure all appropriate functional Subject Matter Experts are engaged to deliver key sub-processes and milestones required for the project, with particular focus on meeting Cost of Goods, Capital and Customer Service metrics for the project.
- Track project progress against milestones, issue status reports and escalate issues as necessary to Product Change Manager and/or stakeholders
- As Asia PCM (Product Change Management) project manager, work with other cluster team and/or projects to drive Asia business growth
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
- BS or BA technical/business degree
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience
- Project management experience, preferably in manufacturing, or purchasing planning/distribution
- New product launches, contract manufacturing and financial analysis as it relates to operations preferred
- Interface, lead and build relationships with multiple levels and functions internal and external to the organization
- Ability to motivate non-direct reports and keep teams working well together
- Operate in complex, non-structured environment
- Clear and concise communication skills with ability orchestrate effective meetings
- High degree of initiative and excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially across countries
