Senior Analyst, Indirect Procurement

Manufacturing Job ID: 28084This role is responsible for developing and executing plans and strategies to source and contract indirect goods and services to support SCJ shanghai plant daily purchasing needs, initiatives and projects. Perform purchasing analysis in all aspects so to select best service suppliers and achieve best values for the plant. Manage supplier relationship and contract compliance and integrity, including maximization of financial deliverables and risk mitigation. Work closely with multitude of stakeholders to ensure requirements are met while best value for the plant is achieved. Manage various procurement systems, processes and procedures to execute service contracts, purchase orders and resolve indirect procurement related technical issues as identified.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Partnering with shanghai plant functional leaders to streamline plant related sourcing & procurement processes and initiatives
Audit & analyze plant current all indirect procurement contracts, service delivery level and vendor/supplier quality attainment
Conduct Supplier Business Reviews & communicate with supplier to review their business on price, spend, and performance from time to time, specially before the contract negotiate and RFP activity
Roll out effective and systematic Supplier Scorecard and train up and guide the stakeholder to use it
Lead and responsible for new indirect procurement need and guarantee end-to-end delivery
Lead and responsible for procurement related cost-saving/avoidance and cash improvement projects
Comply with procurement, Quality and Compliance procedures and responsible for internal and external audit
Manage procurement policies, reporting and analytics
Communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders
Takes initiative in problem solving and willing to learn on the job and grow through new challenges
Completes work independently and other related tasks assigned by superior
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in procurement, business, supply chain, finance
Minimum 3+ years relevant experience required
Job Requirements:
Full time
10% of travel time expected
