ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate Manager, Marketing System Product Owner is responsible for ensuring the steady state operations of our Marketing Workflow and DAM (Data Asset Management), known as BOS (Business Operating System), for all International Consumer Brands. There are multiple opportunities for cross-collaboration with the Business and Technical teams to remove blockers and improve the end user experience, however the Product Owner serves as the ultimate decision maker against the product roadmap and prioritization. Success is playing an integral and active part in driving BOS adoption and reducing friction while evolving where necessary to meet the needs of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Quickly build expert knowledge of Brand Operating System (BOS) technology, processes and workflows
·User Management
oEnsure proper role permissions, mapping and task reassignments
oManage escalations, process SLAs and technical fixes and user impact/communication
·Strategy and Collaboration
oOwn the product roadmap and technology strategy to drive work that supports International Consumer Brands business needs, drives value and solves user issues
oLead the scrum team outputs through a close cross-functional relationship with Global Business Services (IT Team)
oPartner with Workflow and DAM specialists on change management and ongoing learning agenda
·Analytics and Automation
oEstablish KPIs and reporting against success metrics to help identify gaps or opportunities to drive ongoing improvements with user experience and compliance
oExplore potential areas for automation to drive efficiency and reduce manual errors
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
·University Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree and 3+ years of relevant experience
·Qualified candidate must be qualified to work in the United States
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
·5+ years of brand management, local marketing, operations, product or project management experience
·Exposure to Global marketing
·Experience with marketing operating models (generally) at the global and local level
·Experience with a scrum team
·Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
·Masters complexity quickly and is adept at explaining complexity to others
·Strong collaboration skills, and a problem-solving mindset
·Demonstrated success in participating on cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes
·Ability to prioritize among competing needs
·Proven ability to work in Agile Methodology
·Strong analytical skills
·High sense of urgency
·Passion for making a difference and helping the broader team
JOB REQUIREMENTS
·Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
·International travel is not expected – less than 10% is possible
·This role is not eligible for domestic relocation
