ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

The Accounts Payable Market Lead (individual contributor) acts as the liaison between the business and SSC AP and serves as the first level of escalation.

This position supports the Accounts Payable function and is responsible for leading assigned market clusters, on top of the regular AP-related activities such as Invoice Processing and Resolution, Payments Processing, or Vendor Master Data Coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable Market Lead performs day-to-day Accounts Payable transactions for assigned processes in the areas of Invoice Processing and Resolution, Payments Processing, or Vendor Master Data Coordination in compliance with the prescribed SOAR control framework and financial policies to ensure proper recognition and recording of liabilities in the system
• Acts as SOAR Subject Matter Expert for key control frameworks
• Acts as Liaison between the SSC AP team and the business, responsible for the end-to-end issue resolution and coordination for the assigned cluster
• Processes reversals, and validates critical master data details (Employee and Board of Directors’ details), as needed
• Lead Business Partner Relationship Management forums
• Identifies and implements continuous improvements on AP processes to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
• Contribute to the continuous update and documentation of the Accounts Payable Playbook
• Ability to train new joiners in the Accounts Payable processes

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Accounting/bookkeeping diploma/qualification or studying towards diploma/qualification
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the Accounts Payable function
• Proficiency in SAP and Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint)

• Good knowledge of Accounts Payable Process and Controls

Job Requirements:

• Full-time employment
• Work Hours: 8:00AM or 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 6:00PM (Mondays to Fridays)
• ONSITE WORK SETUP; remote work once a week is available upon regularization
• Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables
