As the Associate Manager of Sales Account Management (Modern Trade Channel Development) is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand the company’s distribution network, increase market. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key partners, and optimizing existing channels to boost growth and profitability, promotional strategies, and coverage fundamentals. Additionally, you will manage trade spend, overseeing the end-to-end process in modern trade, and evaluate modern trade promotions to ensure effectiveness

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive and Identify opportunity, anticipate and managing challenge to deliver KPI revenue, profitable growth and position in
    the market.

  • Drive Account management and Channel Development
    Knowledgeable account/channel profile and situation, build trusted business partnership. Define strategic development
    plan including to define opportunity and bring account/channel to the next level of business performance.

  • Driving category growth opportunity in the assigned channel based on account profiles and shopper behavior (Exposure,
    promotion strategy, pricing strategy and assortment strategy).

  • Build, Execute & Evaluate Smart spending to get optimum result (maximum allocated budget)
    Develop and manage budget plan, utilization/execution, monitoring and evaluation

  • Deliver and evaluate Sales Fundamental (Complete assortment, Service level, AR) – End to end process coverage
    Ensure must carry SKU available, visible, and on time delivery.
    Excellent execution to serve customer needs: fresh products, sufficient stock, and complete assortment. Ensure accounts
    deliver the commitment payment tenure

  • Lead the business process through alignment both of internal and external with excellent operation process to get optimum
    results from planning, execution, evaluation and anticipation.

  • Ensure to deliver perfect store target: complete assortment, exposure compliance & pricing compliance.

  • Identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with key partners and optimizing existing channels
    to boost growth and profitability.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least 5 years’ experience in key account management and 3 years’ experience in marketing field.

  • Experience with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)

  • Account management – building relationship, account profiles, SWAT, account plan

  • Category Management – category growth plan

  • Trade spend management - Financial competency

  • Sales Fundamental (Distribution, Service level, AR)

  • Winning in the market

  • Strategic business process: Problem Solving (Analysis, Opportunity, plan & 5W +1H)

  • Distributor Management
