Associate Manager, Customer Supply Chain

Summary:

This role in Indonesia connect the Voice of Customer with SC Johnson Commercial, Customer Fulfillment, Demand and Supply Planning, and Logistics operations. The role enables business growth and a superior customer experience by strengthening customer collaboration, service reliability, supply chain efficiency, cost-to-serve and execution simplicity. 

The role balances in-stock and service objectives with inventory, cost and operational risk. It provides data-based recommendations, leads proactive exception management, and aligns cross-functional action across forecasts, replenishment, promotions, product transitions, key events, customer fulfillment and logistics improvement

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Customer Supply Chain Strategy
  • Translate ASEAN/Indonesia priorities into customer and market strategies across four dimensions: Collaboration, Service, Cost and Complexity.
  • Assess customers by strategic importance and collaboration maturity; recommend appropriate tiered support and actions that strengthen partnership value.
  • Lead the Supply Chain contribution to customer strategies, Joint Business Planning and the Supply Chain component of customer contracts, in partnership with Commercial teams. 
• Customer collaboration, CPFR and joint planning
  • Serve as a Supply Chain interface for priority customers, working with Commercial and customer stakeholders in replenishment, supply chain, merchandising and logistics.
  • Establish Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) and other customer performance routines, including 30/60/90, team-to-team and Joint Business Planning meetings as relevant to the support tier.
  • Align customer and SC Johnson views of demand, forecasts, promotions, replenishment, supply plans and inventory requirements; surface disconnects and coordinate resolution.
  • Support promotion planning and allocation, new-product and modular transitions, seasonal and e-commerce events, and discontinued-item exit strategies. 
• Service, inventory and exception management
  • Align performance standards and create transparent tracking of SC Johnson Case Fill Rate, customer fill rate, On-Time In-Full/On-Time Delivery, in-stock/on-shelf performance, lead time, forecast accuracy, promotion forecast accuracy, Days on Hand and inventory turns.
  • Establish proactive risk alerts and exception routines for orders, supply, in-stock, high-inventory, new-item and promotional issues.
  • Lead root-cause and loss-tree analysis and coordinate time-bound recovery and mitigation plans with Commercial, Customer Fulfillment, Planning and Logistics.
  • Recommend stock policies and replenishment actions that improve availability while balancing inventory, sell-through and obsolescence risk.
  • Provide clear situation, impact, decision and action-plan communication to internal and customer stakeholders. 
• Continuous process improvement and joint value creation
  • Diagnose and improve the customer order-to-delivery flow, including forecast-to-order, stock-to-fulfillment, fulfillment-to-delivery and logistics-network interfaces.
  • Lead or facilitate customer-specific efficiency initiatives involving order-profile improvement, delivery frequency, minimum order quantity/minimum order value, ship-to design, pallet/full-layer utilization, mixed-display rules, inbound logistics, milk runs, cross-dock, and lead-time or waiting-time reduction.
  • Identify and track cost-saving and cost-avoidance opportunities, including penalties, waiting cost, redeliveries and other avoidable operational expense.
  • Develop joint value-creation opportunities with customers and relevant logistics partners that improve service while reducing cost and complexity.
  • Collaborate with Commercial teams through Supply Chain facts and improvement options during customer term, service-level and contract discussion.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• A minimum of bachelor’s degree in any major, preferably Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations, 3PL Management, Logistics or Supply Chain
• Familiar with Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT, etc.)
• Experience working Lean practices and Project Management
• Preferably certified with Lean Six Sigma
