Sr. Analyst, Global Trade Compliance (Data Analytics)

Summary:

  • Member of the Global Supply Chain Strategy team, reporting to the Manager of the Global Trade and Logistics Center of Excellence (GTL COE)
  • Enhance data-driven insights by driving development of data analytics capabilities, data accessibility, accuracy, and reporting in Logistics and Global Trade Compliance (GTC) functions
  • Opportunity to influence digital strategy initiatives and applications directly and indirectly impacting GTC and Logistics
  • Work closely with the Global Supply Chain Analytics team, the Global Trade & Logistics Center of Excellence, and region and business unit logistics and trade compliance teams

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) and super-user on SCJ Supply Chain data, data infrastructure, and existing tools/reports and technologies (Tableau/Power BI/XLS) for GTL CoE team
  • Ensure logistics data requirements and data standards for service providers and internal stakeholders are established and maintained
  • Create, govern, and support global headquarter dashboards, reporting and data needs for GTL CoE
  • Liaise with Global Supply Chain Analytics team to access data analytics training, tools, resources and ensure Global Trade and Logistics are represented in Global Supply Chain Analytics strategy
  • Partner with SCJ’s Business Process and Technology (BPT) organization to enhance data access and data quality and to help execute aligned priorities and Global Trade and Logistics initiatives
  • Collect and help prioritize GTC and Logistics data and data analytics requests and objectives
  • Build and enhance GTC and Logistics headquarter dashboards

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • University Degree in Engineering, Information Management, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or Business Administration required
  • Minimum of 3 years of Supply Chain experience (i.e. Logistics, Planning, Manufacturing, etc.), and including 1-3 years of emphasis in analytics (using data to drive decisions, data mining, data visualization, etc.)  

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Successful candidates will be comfortable navigating complexity and managing ambiguity in a newly formed team
  • Advanced skills in data analytics, data modeling, data visualization – including experience with PowerBI/Tableau, Teradata or Azure, Excel, SAP ERP (ECC, S/4HANA), Robotics Process Automation & Automation Anywhere
  • Passion for solving problems based on data-driven insights
  • Able to manage competing demands and business needs through organizational awareness, communication, and prioritization
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand and summarize key concepts
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, with a growth mindset and readiness to engage in highly collaborative environments

Job Requirements:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work Hours: 8:00AM or 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 6:00PM (Mondays to Fridays)
  • Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables
