ABOUT THE ROLE

Associate Manager is responsible for ensuring that our products comply with all regulatory requirements in the region. working closely with local regulatory authorities, internal teams, and external partners to navigate the complex regulatory landscape. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of regulatory processes and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This role provides direction and support local regulatory members (Argentina, Chile, Paraguay y Uruguay), ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to effectively manage regulatory activities. As a leader will mentor and develop team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

This position reports to the Manager, Registration and Regulatory Compliance Latin America southern Cluster, and belongs to the GSARA (Global Safety Assessment and Regulatory Affairs) organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all products meet local regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to support product approvals and market access.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities and industry associations.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders teams to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulatory policies and guidelines and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide regulatory training and guidance to internal teams.
  • Design, develop, and implement appropriate registration strategies.
  • Provide input at an early stage of the process regarding registration strategy.
  • Support and attend audits.
  • When appropriate, engage and build strong relationships in Regulatory Affairs Committees at key trade associations and with health authorities. Serve as a company regulatory representative in key technical and regulatory external forums.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor of Science degree, in a related science (Pharmacy, Chemistry, and related fields).
  • 5+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs for Argentina and other Latin American countries, in the Pharmaceutical and / or Pest Control industry.
  • Knowledge and verified experience in Pesticides Registration in Argentina and other Latin American countries.
  • Teamwork, Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge in toxicology
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Previous leadership position in Regulatory Affairs
  • Certification in the registration process for the pharmaceutical industry
  • Orientation to detail
  • Fast learning skills
